The Heart Behind Mihut Manor

When you grow up in a Christian household, you develop a love for people. However, beyond the walls of that home, there is a world that wants to convince you of just the opposite. I grew up believing that I was an introvert that needed time away from people to regain my energy. Only until the past couple of years, I realized that was a lie from the enemy to keep me away from God’s people.
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12
We all have a special role in God’s kingdom and each role is different, yet equally important. Each part relies on the other and if we don’t step into our part, as believers, then the body cannot function at the height of what it is capable of. So, when I believed that I should not surround myself with other people, I was not stepping into my role as the body of Christ; forgive me.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
God does not want His people to be isolated or fearful. Without each other, we become vulnerable which makes it easier for the enemy to whisper lies in your life. When we stand together, we build a powerful fortress. When we stand together, we remind one another of the truth and just how strong we are because of the God who stands before us. When we stand together, we encourage one another to get back up when we fall down. When we stand together, lives are transformed and made new. Not only can we survive in this life but when we stand together, we help one another thrive.

The reason I opened my home to others, through Mihut Manor, is because I want to stand together with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to build a community that supports one another and helps each other grow. Once we receive from His overflow, then we can pour His love out onto others and expand His kingdom!
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Did you feel some sort of tug on your heart when you read this truth? That’s His Spirit whispering to you and maybe calling you to rethink this path that you are on. God made us in His image, male and female He created us; so, let us reflect His image! Think about your character; do those qualities mirror God’s qualities? The more we search Him, the better we will hear His voice, know His heart and understand our role as the body of Christ.
